The graves of Squire Rousby (Mr Bracewell) and his mother are in the churchyard.   A picture taken in February when substantial parts of the churchyard are covered in Snowdrops.

The only additions in the church since Flora’s time are a smaller brass plate recording the name of the one Serviceman from the Parish killed in the Second World War and a smaller commemorative stone tablet to Flora herself. Interest in her matchless account of this small and undistinguished Parish in North Oxfordshire has grown over the years, and the Visitors Book in the church contains many affectionate comments about the building and its associations with her.  It was therefore decided to use part of the funds raised by our first Flower Festival to provide, immediately alongside the War Memorials, the tablet pictured below.

The tablet  was dedicated by the Rector, Rev Ricky Yates, in October 1995.
